Oregon wine country

The Oregon Wine country is centered along the Willamette valley, just south of Portland. Created by the Willamette river, the Willamette valley stretches for over one hundered miles in length and is 60 miles wide. This cool wine growing region makes for some great wines and some great trips into the heart of the valley from Portland.
Additionally (thanks our friends at OregonWine.org) we have provided you maps of the major vinicultural areas in the state. These maps are in Adobe pdf format and are suitable for printing and planning your wine tour, not to mention turning any normal person into that dreaded Oenophile (that's a wine geek). These maps also have a small area for tasting notes, so print them off, grab a pencil (or pen) and head on off to enjoy great Oregon wine. See the next paragraph for maps. |
